Genio Build
We design and construct buildings by applying smart building.
In an increasingly connected world, the way we design and build homes and the way we use energy changes
Nowadays it is necessary to know how to manage many technological, human and ecological challenges to allow the development of new models.
The aims are to:
- Improve livability
- Increase security
- Increase energy savings
Today the traditional system for structure building involves a waste of time and resources with a poor aesthetic result and a high total cost to reach the accurate levels to guarantee customer comfort.
Genio Build fits well into this perspective, capable of producing a range of high- quality construction and architecture products with structural performance and energy efficiency in order to meet the strictest international standards.
Genio Build industrial solutions are fully integrated, turnkey and are the ideal solution for the changing home.
Integrated solutions because they start from the innovative construction system that characterises the whole project, they will develop through partnerships with leading companies in their respective sectors through technological systems, windows, floors and everything related to the world of home up to home automation and furnishings.
Zero energy buildings (NZEB)
Buildings are great consumers of energy and the greatest waste is just to heat and cool buildings.
Building with Genio Build means building but less energy-hungry, energy-efficient homes and therefore saving up to 80% of energy for the entire existence of the building and the production of CO2 is reduced by about 60% compared to traditional building built with beams and pillars in reinforced concrete and buffered with insulated masonry.
Polystyrene, the main component of our product, has been classified and certified by the most authoritative competent organisations as an absolutely eco-compatible material with the lowest environmental impact as it is non-toxic, recyclable and, in the event of a fire, it is self-extinguishing.
Genio Build is part of the government programme for eco-sustainability called MINERGIE; the use of the construction system, in fact, favours the diffusion of a green culture but without renouncing the objective of containing the construction cost that, with the traditional system or the use of wood, is seriously affected by the impact due to the use of additional materials and processes to achieve the energy efficiency standards that with Genio Build, on the other hand, are inherent in the features of the building itself.
The NZEB (Nearly Zero Energy Building) are extremely high-performance buildings that reduce consumption as much as possible due to their functioning and the harmful impact on the environment. This means that energy demand for heating, cooling, ventilation, domestic hot water production and electricity is very low.
Management and advantages of "Smart Building" buildings
Livability
Safety
Energy saving
A smart building is a building that optimises all functions performed within it. And this takes the form of two keywords: automation and interconnection.
On the one hand, in fact, a large amount of functions are set in such a way that they can be automatic, on the other hand, all devices must be connected to each other to create a more or less extensive ecosystem. Based on the number of intelligent systems that make up a building and the level of integration between them, the structure can be characterised by greater or lesser complexity.
The building is intelligent when it can manage energy optimally and provide the best possible comfort to those who live there, making residents as aware as possible about consumption and the best way to reduce them.
Thanks to the BMS (Building Management System), connected to the lighting system, suitably combined in the network, it is possible to switch the lights on and off at optimal times and to vary light levels, being able to make a comparative evaluation to determine whether the impact on the use of HVAC energy resulting from the regulation of “smart windows” to let in sunlight will be less or greater than when windows are darkened and lights are turned on.
In all this, the Internet of Things has a crucial role in making all systems interconnected.
Furthermore, thanks to IoT sensors, it is possible to collect useful data to understand the actual presence of people in rooms, thereby adjusting lights and climate.
The set of sensors applied in buildings provide the possibility to manage, saving, energy and consumption, but also allows you to monitor the performance of a system and activate appropriate interventions in case of equipment malfunction even before an alarm is triggered.
It means being able to do predictive maintenance. If an error message is sent, the system collects data that can determine the cause of the problem.
Depending on the installed platform, the system can also be set to automatically adapt to any problem.
Optimised environments increase well-being and significantly reduce health problems, in residential or work environments
